The Crete Writing Workshop is an opportunity to study writing with an emphasis on food, culture and the environment in one of the world’s most inspiring settings, the island of Crete. Known for its dramatic landscapes and beautiful blue waters, Crete is a repository of history, traditional folk life, cuisine, music and literature. Its long has been an inspiration to writers. Of his time in Crete, Henry Miller wrote, “I was a littler nearer to the stars.”

Program dates:  June 15-24, 2012.

* The Workshop is organized with the support and cooperation of the Regional Press Institute (RPI), which is based on the island of Crete.
